Jarrack 33 ”Gunfighter”

A safe, stiff sailing boat that carries a lot of sail and is well suited to family sailing as well as to those that like to sail a little harder.

The boat's data and performance
Rig and sails: The boat has a mast head rig with inner brace and stern backstays. The headsail is a furling genoa of 38 m2. The main sail is 23 m2 fully battened and with lazy jacks that gather up the sail when reefing or furling.

Motor: Diesel motor, inboard Volvo Penta MD 11C, 23 hk with sail drive. Cruising speed 6 knots. Diesel tank for 60 litres.

Instrument and navigation equipment
Wheel helm and compass on pedestal, aiming compass, auto-pilot, Simrad navigation plotter with repeater in the seat well, binoculars with compass, Silva NX 22 log, echo sounder and wind instruments. Charts for most waters.

Cabin and galley
Head clearance in the main cabin is 1.82 metres. In the forepeak the berths are slightly less than full length. The main and aft cabins have full-length berths. The main cabin also has two hammocks. Doors between main cabin and toilet space. Galley has gas stove with oven, fridge box, running hot and cold water. Cupboard and box space with plates, glasses and cutlery, pans etc. for 6 people. The hog has space for drinks and things that don't need a fridge but need cooler storage.

Other
Hired usually per week Sunday 4 p.m. - Sunday 2 p.m. (NOTE!) or as agreed. The boat is handed over in Vadstena and returned there. Sailing is in Swedish waters if nothing else is agreed. Payment of 30% is made when signing agreement and the remaining 70% is paid 30 days before the sailing period. The boat is insured for hire. At hand over 4000SEK is left as a deposit which is returned at the end of the hire period if the boat and its equipment is returned without damage and no third party claims exist.
