Canal charges 1999

Canal charges vary according to the number of districts you pass through. See district map below.
(Note. Maximum dimensions of boats: length 30 m, beam 7 m, height 22 m, draught 2.82 m.)

Example: Your boat is 9.5 m long and you want to make a two-way journey through five districts. The canal charges will be SEK 1,975.

For the whole round trip journey to/from Gothenburg, there is an additional charge of SEK 550 (single) or SEK 1,100 (two-way) for using the Trollhätte Canal

Free use of visitors' harbours
The canal charges include free use of the 15 visitors' harbours, with up to five days in each harbour. Eight of the harbours have a limited number of berths with electricity supply.
